From BAFTAs to Grammys

Last night was full of events: the Grammys at Los Angeles and the Baftas in London.
The Oscars of the music and the British Oscars all in one night but on the opposite side of the world!
From Royal Hall in London to Staples Center in Los Angeles, the celebrities were a lot with a lot of looks, but unfortunately I have to admit that last night was a bit undertone. There weren't outstanding outfits or looks, nothing breath-taking. Maybe because they're holding back for the upcoming Oscars? I really hope so! Because I need to be surprised!!

Let's see the outfits of Baftas!

Viola Davis opted for a custom strapless colourful dress in blue shades by Jenny Packham with a Tyler Ellis clutch and Bulgari jewelry to complete the look.

Naomie Harris wore a delicate baby pink Gucci dress with orange flowers on the waist as detail, Aquazzura shoes, earrings and coordinate clutch by Swarovski. Her dress is made of silk and crème tulle gown with ruffle shoulder detail, plissé skirt and orange silk flowers.

Her co-star in her latest movie Lion, Dev Patel wore a black tuxedo by Burberry.

At the event, there were also the duchess Kate Middleton who wa wearing a very elegant black Alexander McQueen gown. Her dress was a flowery black off-the-shoulders gown in silk with flounces through the long skirt.

The Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner chose a long dress by Louis Vuitton wit black long sleeves top and silver sequin skirt. She chose a dress with a deep v-neck and  a deep tear on the skirt to show her long legs.

La La Land protagonist Emma Stone wore a Chanel Couture dress and clutch, Tiffany & Co. jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes. Her dress is coming directly from the lastest Haute Couture collection of Chanel and it structured with a dress and coordinated trousers underneath

Amy Adams chose a emerald green gown  by Tom Ford with Jimmy Choo shoes, Tom Ford clutch and David Webb jewelry. Her dress was suoer simple on the front but on the back was super cute with a nice velvet bow as detail.

Felicity Jones opted for a delicate black gown by Christian Dior coming from the recent collection of Maria Grazie Chiuri. She completed her look with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Bulgari jewelry.

Bryce Dallas Howard, who was accompanied by her dad Ron Howard, wore a black Solace London dress with Jimmy Choo shoes.

Now let's take an imaginary flight to Los Angeles and see what's the Grammy's offered!
Adele was nominated in five categoris including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
On the red carpet, she wore a green custom Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
While performing she wore a black velvet dress by Givenchy Haute Couture. She honored George Micheal singing one of his most famous song Fastlove and it was amazing despite the little problem at the beginning!

While she was accepting her award for Best Album she broke her Grammy to share it with Beyonce!!! Crazy!! But I love her!

Beyonce wore a red total sequin custom dress by Peter Dundas and for her performance she wore a wonderful gold dress by Peter Dundas. This was the first appearance in public after the announcement of her pregnancy and when she performed she was simply a vision caring not one but two babies! Amazing!

Her sister Solange, who won the Best R&B Performance, wore a Gucci gold lurex metallic gown  with ruffle neckline and pleated skirt.

Jason Derulo was super dapper with his total black look and his amazing coat with fur neck by Giuseppe Zanotti.

Laverne Cox wore a custom black Bryan Hearns dress with Stuart Weitzman shoes, Lana Jewelry earrings, Borgioni bracelet, Kavant & Sharart and Mimi So rings. She was so sexy!

Rihanna opted for an Armani Privè outfit made of an orange crop top and a voluminous black skirt. She completed her look with Roger Vivier clutch and jewelry by Chopard and David Webb.I really liked her hair style, it almost brought me back to her Pon de Replay era.

Heidi Klum chose a very cute mini silver dress by Philip Plein with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

Celine Dion chose a wonderful emerald green dress by Zuhair Murad with a deep slit and long sleeves directly from the latest Haute Couture collection. She completed her look with Gucci sandals and Dvani earrings.

Demi Lovato was stunning in her Julien MacDonald dress with David Yurman jewelry, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Edie Parker clutch.

Lady Gaga was super rock'n'roll with her daring outfit by Alex Ulichny.

Chrissy Teigen wore a Roberto Cavlli dress with Coomi earrings and Jimmy Choo clutch.I love her and her husband John Legend so much.. they are hilarious together!

Jennifer Lopez wore one of the nicest ouftit of the event, a baby pink Ralph & Russo Haute Couture gown with Christian Louboutin shoes and Butani jewelry.

The host of the event, the amazing and talented James Corden (I'm sorry but I love him too much!)  was with her wife on the red carpet and they both wore Tom Ford. Let's take a minute to appreciate the clutch of Julia which had "Corden" written on it! So cute!

Katy Perry, unfortunately, wore the worst outfit of the night: a sequin dress with a skirt made od feathers by Tom Ford wirh Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. I'm sorry but this is a big NO NO.

Last night there were a lot of amazing performances apart from Beyonce's, like Adele who performed Hello, Ed Sheeran who performed one of his latest singles Shape of You or The Weeknd together with the Daft Punk who performed I feel it coming and Starboy.

I need to be surprise for the upcoming events because both the Grammy's and the Baftas were a little bit undertone!
What do you think about last night?

That's all for now

Talk to you soon
