An American Princess

Yesterday another in love couple had their amazing day to seal their love, but this couple was not a normal one.. it was Price Harry and Meghan Markle wedding.
I have to admit that I kind of don't like her, but yesterday she was spectacular! Amazing!
I cried watching their wedding on the tv!

The wedding was nice and elegant but most of all was different because it was the union between the British Royal house and a normal American girl from Los Angeles.
And of course the guests were not just royals but also very famous celebrities.

The most expected thing about this wedding I think was Meghan's dress and it was wonderful. I was a little bit disappointed because I thought she would have chosen something more extravagant but she opted for the most simple dress ever and it was amazing!

Her dress was designed by Clare Waight Keller, the first female artistic director of Givenchy.
Kensington Palace described her styles as "timeless and elegant aesthetic, impeccable tailoring, and relaxed demeanour".

The dress had a slightly off the shoulder neck with three-quarter lenght sleeves. Moreover the dress was tailored with double-bonded silk and an underskirt in triple silk organza.

The semplicity of the dress was in contrast with the long veil. It was 5-meter long white silk veil which was embroidered with floral details that represents all the 53 countries of the Commonwealth.
The designer, in fact, took a long time to study and look for a flower that could represent each country. The veil, of course, is hand-embroidered and made in silk threads and organza.

Everyone was amazed by the beauty of the tiara Meghan was wearing which was Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara.
Kensigton Palace released that: "The diamond bandeau is English and was made in 1932. The centre of the bandeau is set with a detachable brooch of 10 brilliant diamonds dating from 1893. The headpiece also includes diamonds and platinum in 11 sections. It was made for Queen Mary and specifically designed to accommodate the centre brooch, which she received as a present when she was princess for her marriage to Prince George, Duke of York."
Meghan completed her amazing outfit with earrigs and bracalet by Cartier and chose to wear her hair up, which were styled by Serge Normant and make-up by her dear friend Daniel Martin.

The bouquet was formed by flowers handpicked directly from Prince Harry (isn't it adorable?) from their private garden in Kensington Palace the day before the wedding.
The bouquet included: " forget-me-nots which were Diana, Princess of Wales’ favourite flower. They were specifically chosen to honour the memory of the late princess. The small bouquet also features scented sweet peas, lily of the valley, astilbe, jasmine and astrantia, and sprigs of myrtle, all bound with a naturally dyed, raw silk ribbon."

The couple after the ceremony in the church in Windsor and after the lunch, changed themselves for the dinner ceremony.
They were spotted leaving Windsor Castle in a silver blue Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero on their way to the dinner reception at Frogmere House.
Meghan wore an amazing white dress by Stella McCartney and Aquazurra shoes and Prince Harry opted for a formal black tuxedo.

Look at them! It's like a 50's movie!

Now let's pass to the guests' style.

Meghan's co-stars of Suits were invited and her on-screen husband was there with his real-life wife.
Patrick J.Adams wore a Canali suit with The Tie Bar pocket sqaure and socks.

Abigail Spencer, another Suits co-star, opted for a dress by Alessandra Rich.
Sarah Rafferty wore a navy blue Lanvin dress, Gina Torres a bright pink Costarellos dress and Jacinta Barrett (wife of Gabriel Macht, co-star of Meghan in Suits) opted for a burgundy Emilia Wickstead dress.

Priyanka Chopra chose a lilac outfit by Vivienne Westwood.

Carey Mulligan wore a delicate yellow dress by Erdem.

Victoria Beckham opted for a navy blue outfit by her own collection and her husband David wore a Dior Homme ensemble.

Serena Williams wore a powder pink dress by Versace.

Amal Clonney was amazing in her mustard dress by Stella McCartney.

Now let's pass to the royals attending the wedding.

Queen Elizabeth chose a bright green outfit by Stewart Parvin.

Kate Middleton wore a outfit  by Alexander McQueen, her sister Pippa opted for a The Fold dress.

Kitty Spencer, was impecable in her emerald green Dolce & Gabbana dress and Philip Treacy headpiece.

This wedding was like a fairytale. I was really envying Meghan yesterday.
The wedding was wonderful, she was beautiful and everything was so magical!

It's nice to become a princess!

What do you think about this royal wedding? Do you like them?

That's all for now
